Free Will Partnership with Cancer Research UK
Creating a Will is paramount if you want to ensure that your assets are passed on exactly as you wish. A Will sets out how you would like your assets, such as money in the bank and property, to be distributed to your loved ones after your death.
If you don’t have a Will, your estate will fall into what is known as intestacy and in this case, a potential executor will need to instruct a solicitor to make an application to the Court, to have them appointed to deal with the administration of your estate. This can be time-consuming and incur additional costs. Your assets would then be distributed in accordance with the rules of intestacy.
Making a Will can be daunting but we at Bannerman Burke Law can help you navigate through the process and aim to make it as stress-free as possible. We have specialist staff who have the expertise to draft simple or complex Wills, which will help you to plan ahead and protect your assets.
There is no better time to create a Will or amend your current Will as we have recently partnered with Cancer Research UK and as a result, we can offer you a free Will or a free amendment to your existing Will.
There is no obligation for you to leave a gift to Cancer Research in your Will, however, if you wish to do so it will obviously greatly assist a brilliant charity who are doing their best to fight cancer. Will legacy gifts fund over one-third of Cancer Research UK’s life-saving research so, if you are considering leaving a small gift within your Will to Cancer Research UK, it could help to make a big difference.
We can offer this service to anyone who is over 18 years old. You don’t need to be an existing client of the firm to benefit from this service.
If you are interested in making a new free Will or an amendment to your previous Will, our dedicated team would be delighted to assist you.
